About The Event

During his engaging webinar, Neil will argue that humanity’s existential challenges, such as climate change, will only be solved if leaders are ethically intelligent and encourage this dimension in others. He will explain what this means in practice and how this super-quality is being developed in Values-based schools worldwide.

The quiet revolution towards ethics-centric education began at Kidlington in Oxfordshire during the 1990’s, whist Neil was a Headteacher. Neil made the transformational work of West-Kidlington school the subject of his research degree, supervised by Professor Richard Pring at the Department of Education. Neil is an Alumnus of Kellogg College, Oxford.

Neil will share insights into why values-based education (VbE) creates a culture for teaching and learning that empowers schools to encourage a transformation of consciousness that leads to altruistic behaviour – Values-based Living.
